In the ongoing battle to eliminate buzz, squeak and rattle (BSR) in modern vehicles, TÜV SÜD is offering its services with on-site testing as well as custom-built solutions. The company is equally equipped to test for NVH, performance, durability and a host of other requirements.
For its BSR testing, TÜV SÜD uses servo-electric actuator technology, which the company says is far ahead of hydraulic or electromagnetic actuation in terms of key performance metrics, including force, velocity, acceleration, root mean square (RMS) error, NVH, and energy consumption. Servo-electric actuator technology also delivers higher performance and accuracy, resulting in an increased frequency of repeatable tests.
