Having recently introduced its first crash test dummy, the THOR-DTI, Kistler is aiming to become a full system provider for anthropomorphic test devices (ATDs). The THOR 50TH ATD enables customers to get the complete system of dummy, instrumentation and integrated digital transducer interface (DTI) technology from one source.

This is the dummy with all the instrumentation (accelerometers, angular rate sensors, load cells, 3D deflection measurement, software, calibration devices, and a maintenance contract with spare parts supply).

The THOR-50M represents an average male adult at 77 kilograms and 1.76 meters tall. It is certified for the NHTSA and NCAP’s THOR-50M qualification procedure (build level A) and is DTI-ready with up to 288 measuring channels.
