For durability testing, MTS will highlight new and emerging solutions for maximizing test throughput and achieving new levels of test lab operational efficiency. Foremost among these is the new Swift Evo family of wheel force transducers, just introduced to the market by recently acquired MTS subsidiary PCB Piezotronics. Other productivity-enhancing solutions include the all-electric, durability-capable ePost Tire-coupled Road Simulator, new long-lasting and efficient MTS DuraGlide Actuators, and the MTS Echo Intelligent Lab connectivity solutions. For vehicle dynamics analyses, the MTS booth will focus on high-fidelity simulation tools for the development of autonomous and electric vehicles. These include Flat-Trac roadways for understanding how AV systems affect drivability; driving simulators for studying driver/occupant behavior; the MTS Vehicle Dynamics Simulator (VDS) for studying the driver/occupant environment; and a variety of advanced hybrid simulation solutions for integrating physical test systems with computational models, to gain critical insight earlier in the vehicle development process.
