Multi-axis and multi-shaker testing
Team Corporation

Automotive durability testing establishes greater confidence that components and sensitive electronics will survive real-world driving hazards. Vibration testing, which is typically used to simulate road load dynamics, is a key part of any durability testing process. Simulating real-world vibration dynamics as accurately as possible is best achieved through multi-axis vibration testing. Working cooperatively, Data Physics and Team Corporation are industry leaders in multi-axis vibration testing, with proven success in sequential and simultaneous multi-axis test system design.

The Data Physics Matrix controller is ideal for simultaneous multi-axis and multi-shaker operation. Incredibly high simulation accuracy is achieved through continuous control while compensating for cross-coupled dynamic responses of multiple inputs.

The Team Cube shaker system has a compact design ideally suited for automotive labs. It leverages internal hydraulic actuators and spherical pad bearings for sequential or simultaneous 6DOF capability. The Cube provides five mounting surfaces, enabling testing to be done on different components or in different orientations at the same time with a force rating up to 14,000 lbf (62kN) in each axis, and controlled excitation up to 500Hz.
