New-generation high-precision power analyzers
HBK – Hottinger Brüel & Kjær
HBM has launched a completely new series of power analyzers that set new standards in precision and dynamic power measurement. With an unmatched base accuracy of 0.015% reading + 0.02% of range, they are especially suited for all applications requiring the highest performance, such as efficiency measurement, electrical machine mapping, vehicle energy management (VEM) and automotive range testing (WLTP).
The various mainframes and the modular ‘slide in’-board approach allow systems to grow from three to as many as 51 power channels in a single mainframe; other inputs like CAN, temperature and NVH signals can be added and recorded simultaneously. Digital cycle detection guarantees accurate power results in dynamic load changes, and a built-in SSD enables real-time raw data storage for later verification and analysis.
Combined with the HBM torque sensors and the – also newly launched – range of HBM current zero flux sensors, this power analyzer family offers a one-stop-shop solution for all demanding power applications.
