3D localization of sound radiation

With the patented DynaBeam solution, gfai tech GmbH takes 3D beamforming to a new level. With the 3D scanner integrated into the microphone array, the geometry of the measurement object is recorded simultaneously with the recording of the acoustic data in a single measurement process.
With the NoiseImage software, the acoustic images of the different array positions are combined and mapped directly onto the 3D model.
The advantages of DynaBeam are obvious. The novel approach significantly increases the dynamics of the acoustic mapping compared with conventional beamforming. In addition, DynaBeam allows the display of the main beam direction of individual measuring points and thus offers a valuable tool for acoustic optimization, for example for the identification of optimal locations for the use of sound-absorbing materials.
DynaBeam allows for the creation of a 3D model of the measurement object and acquires the complete sound radiation in one measuring process. gfai tech GmbH, a subsidiary of GFaI eV, develops, produces and markets innovative products for sound and vibration measurement and analysis.
