Better synchronization at crash test facilities for precision data
MESSRING

MESSRING will be presenting crash test facilities that can be globally synchronized without disruption, using a digital fiber-optic M=SYNC clock and trigger system.

Professionally synchronizing modern crash test facilities with all systems and components, is becoming more complex and more important. If crash test facilities are able to operate reliably and efficiently, they generate precise and reproducible data, and this becomes simpler if clock and trigger signals are able to reach all of the facility’s areas and devices at the same time.

The M=SYNC clock and trigger system, changes the way way signals are distributed. Instead of using analog signals, a simple row of cables and linear bus systems, enable the digital communication infrastructure that sends data packets to the most remote locations within a facility without disruption. This is possible thanks to newly developed trigger boxes that process highly complex communication protocols as well as disruption-proof fiber-optic cables, used in place of copper cables.

The system is based on newly developed trigger boxes that can be freely scaled and installed wherever they are needed. These boxes enable integration of preparation boxes, crash areas, lighting and camera equipment, and any number of additional devices ranging from airbag ignition devices to camera flashes. All devices simultaneously receive the information relevant to them. M=SYNC is the perfect solution for all modern facilities with more than one crash area.
