New handy 4-channel acoustic measurement device

HEAD Acoustics will showcase its latest-generation mobile data acquisition device, SQobold.
Automotive Testing Expo Europe attendees will have the chance to experience this new 4-channel measurement system including sound level meter functions and psychoacoustic analyses. The large, brilliant multi-touch display provides ease of use – either as stand-alone or front-end device.
The market for measuring systems has varied demands for soft- and hardware functions. With SQobold, HEAD Acoustics has launched a product which offers a maximum of flexibility, not least because of its compact size. With up to six hours of stand-alone operation, SQobold acquires accurate recordings and sound level measurements with ease, and is because of its compact size of 14.3 cm (5.6”) and weight of just 485 g (1.1 lb), can be easily transported, wherever it is required.
Following the success of the company’s established software ArtemiS SUITE, the customer can also add firmware packages according to their needs.
Clients with more extensive measurement tasks can select individual option packages – or use all of SQobold’s feature packages. In addition to the FFT Online-Analyser and an extension to the sound level meter function, SQobold offers video support.
