Microphone additions for NVH testing
G.R.A.S Sound & Vibration AS - Stand: 8466
The latest generation of measurement microphones will be featured on GRAS’s stand. The 147AX is a new surface microphone optimized for cold and hot engine noise testing. The EB version is an extremely robust microphone optimized for brake noise testing. Both have been developed in close collaboration with leading OEMs, and mitigate the constraints typically found in engine bay and wheelhouse testing.
The 147AX can withstand extreme temperatures, but also has a small form factor and unique mounting system allowing for surface mounting in confined spaces, thereby improving the testing method itself. The 147EB is rugged, thanks to the three layers of protection of the diaphragm, allowing it to withstand thousands of miles of driving in even the toughest weather conditions.
