EV motor testing system
Ohtama
Ohtama's e-MotorChamber is an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) assessment system that accelerates the development of high-voltage EV motors. Features include a long shaft for high-speed rotation – a dynamometer and a test motor are connected with just a single long shaft, enabling high-speed rotation of 20,000rpm or more and high torque to be transmitted directly. The company says it is the world's fastest EV motor testing system. It covers a wide range of specifications for EMC assessments of EV motors in standards CISPR 25, ISO 11452-2, -4, -9 and GB/T 36282, as well as automobile manufacturer standards.
The system can be customized to customers' specific requests, and the company offers modifications to existing anechoic chambers. EMC testing can be carried out in the demonstration anechoic chamber at the Fujimatsu Laboratory, Aichi prefecture, Japan.
