High-performance miniature pressure transducers

A new range of high-performance miniature pressure transducers for the testing of engines and drivetrains will be displayed by PMC at this year’s Automotive Testing Expo in Novi, Michigan. Designed for use in rugged environments from -65ºF (-53.9ºC) to +300ºF (+148.9ºC), these all-welded stainless steel sensors can withstand vibration levels of more than 20g. Measuring less than 0.5in (12.7mm) in diameter and weighing just 0.4oz (0.011kg), operation is from 5Vdc or 8-16Vdc with an output of 0.5V to 4.5V equivalent to the pressure range selected. Reliability is guaranteed by at least a 250% pressure proof rating for all ranges.
