Sometimes size really does matter, and IMV’s class-rated water-cooled shaker is a prime example. This machine is capable of 3in (76.2mm) peak-peak stroke and has a high frequency of up to 2,000Hz (up to 3,000Hz in case of no load) with a rated force of 350kN without lowering resonance frequency, a specification that can enlarge the testing scope and respond to the increasing demand for higher test specifications. In addition, this shaker can perform a maximum of 3.5m/s shock velocity testing, which is said to be impossible with conventional shakers.
