Reworking software for individual ECUs or those already installed in vehicles can often be tricky and time-consuming. However, Exclusive Origin’s Stratos ECU software management system is a scalable tool that automates the ECU reflashing process. Operating in real-time, the system is reportedly 25% faster than commercial off-the-shelf tools common to the industry. The handheld units can be used by themselves, connected to a PC or hooked up together and placed at end-of-line, ensuring that the latest software or firmware is installed before the ECU leaves the facility. They can also be used in the field where the ECU is already installed in the vehicle.
