Simulating the most extreme environmental conditions is vital for ensuring system reliability and functionality in the automotive industry. The Riechy solar simulation climate chamber was designed using computer simulation and developed with solar radiation, ambient temperature, and relative humidity at its core. The chamber is fully customizable depending on the vehicle, and the walls are designed for optimal reflection with an irradiation range from 800-1,200W/m2. It matches the full solar spectrum including UV, VIS, and IR, and light can even be filtered for different spectrum requirements – such as indoor or outdoor – with a uniformity of ±5% in the reference plane, a temperature range from -40°C to +100°C, and relative humidity of 30-85%.
