High-speed torque limiters

To discover new EAS-HSC and EAS-HSE test-stand clutches, head to the Mayr booth. With a compact design and a high-performance density to reduce the rotating mass, the clutches improve machine dynamics and increase run smoothness. A prerequisite for using torque-limiting clutches in high-speed applications is the high balance quality of every component. Mayr’s new clutches are balanced when assembled to G2.5 at a reference speed of 3,000rpm. They also offer complete separation, synchronous re-engagement, high torsional rigidity, and low mass moment of inertia at speeds of up to 12,000rpm (or 20,000rpm as a bespoke unit).
