Low-profile triaxial accelerometer makes waves
PCB Piezotronics Sensor Technology

PCB Piezotronics has recently updated its Model 339A32 accelerometer with its Model 339B32. The 339B32 is a high-temperature (163⁰C), low-temperature coefficient of sensitivity, ICP, low-profile triaxial accelerometer.

The accelerometer has a sensitivity of 10mV/g, a measurement range of ±500gpk (±4905m/s² pk) and a frequency response (±5%) of 2-10kHz. This product now incorporates a single-pole, low-pass filter with a >14kHz electrical filter corner frequency. The frequency range has also been extended from 8kHz to 10kHz. With the addition of the filter, this sensor is now complementary to the existing line of filtered triaxial LTC accelerometers. (TLD339A37, TLD339A34, TLD339A36, 339A31 and 339A30).
