In passive safety testing, only single-digit numbers of tests can be conducted each day. It is more convenient to work on a desktop computer, which should not be in the vehicle under test.

This scenario enables the numbers of tests possible per day to rise to the double digits. In ADAS testing, there is little use for a laptop in the cluttered backseat of the vehicle, and the robot occupies most of the remaining space.
