CTC’s new test hall
CTC advanced GmbH - Stand: 1466

CTC advanced put its newly built test hall into operation in 2019. This new test center unites the company’s existing service offering in the fields of environmental simulation, battery testing and electrical safety testing, in one place. CTC has run its battery test lab for over ten years, with a specific focus on abuse tests, UNTT 38.3 (UN Transportation Testing) and environmental simulation. This includes a crash track within an explosion-protected room.

A further large shaker, which is planned for mid-2019, will enable large-scale batteries to be tested. The new shaker will feature a force vector of 300kN and tests will be available for batteries up to a size of 230m and a weight of multiple metric tons.

The company’s focus at this year’s ATE will be on battery testing but it also offers comprehensive automotive EMC and radio testing with a focus on car subassemblies. All tests are conducted in accordance with regulatory directives or tailored to the individual requirements of the automotive industry.
