New mobility testing opportunity
Segula Technologies

The Segula Technologies test center in Rodgau-Dudenhofen (30km southeast of Frankfurt, Germany) is now open to all OEMs as well as Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and complements the company’s complete development center in Rüsselsheim. New technologies for the mobility of tomorrow are being tested at both these plants.

The company’s 23 test tracks have a total length of 80km. Highlights include a high-speed circuit and a long straight line with skid pad. The circuit is 4.8km long and has a maximum incline of 39° on the fourth lane, which enables side-force-free driving in the V-max range. In addition, there are three brake zones, refrigerated containers, heat reaction garages and night lighting. The 3km-long straight leads into a skid pad with a diameter of 300m. Various dynamic and ADAS tests can be carried out here. The 250 x 60m performance area offers the ability to perform dynamic driving maneuvers on dry and irrigated roads. This area can also be used to host events.

With a wide range of services and the extensive expertise of engineers and test drivers, Segula Technologies has put together options for vehicle and system testing, including continuous running testing, airbag system testing, passing noise measurements and powertrain calibration.

The plant also has test benches, including a 5,000m high-altitude climate roller dynamometer, as well as other exhaust roller dynamometers, soak areas and vehicle workshops. There are also reserved customer areas and offices, as well as a conference and event area.
