Waterproof push-pull connector

Yamaichi Electronics’ waterproof T-series, from the Y-Circ P push-pull circular connector family, will take center stage on the company’s booth at this year’s Automotive Testing Expo.
Yamaichi is continuously expanding the Y-Circ P circular connector range, having successfully introduced the T-series to offer protection against permanent immersion in water. The Y-Circ P series has been tested and qualified to withstand submersion for 48 hours at a depth of 1m, corresponding to protection rating IP68.
A robust locking system has enabled Yamaichi Electronics to qualify the T-series to 5,000 instead of 3,000 mating cycles. The design still includes the patented ‘cable sealing collet’ where the cable sealing and collet are reduced to one part. This configuration allows for easy, quick and error-free installation. Together with long service life, this connector series offers considerable savings potential.
Various standard pin assignments are available for all sizes, 09, 12, 15 and 18.
Customer-specific pin assignments can also be implemented.
