Step Lab will present its new products based on electromechanical and electrodynamic actuators and technological challenges in the field of dynamic applications.

The electromechanical actuator (EA) series was developed to meet the needs of dynamic applications in cyclic applications with a high number of cycles. The actuators have been designed to operate both on structures and production lines for quality control. Step Lab has significantly reduced weights and dimensions but, at the same time, expanded the stroke size and extended dynamic load range up to 200kN.

The electrodynamic actuator (UD) series was created for very high dynamic mechanical tests. Step Lab has the largest catalog of machines based on linear motors and its R&D team is enhancing this technology every year by producing structures with ever-increasing loads and accelerations, such as the latest high dynamic test product HUD0120, which drives 120kN, twice the load of the previous year's flagship product.

The company’s innovations are not limited to hardware; its global mechanical testing software Test Center is continuously updating preset tests with calculation automation integrated into the data viewer part.
