Cast-iron bed plates

Jash Precision Tools specializes in quality metrology tools, and at this year’s expo will show its cast-iron T-slotted bed plates and floor plates. These are used as rigid bases and platforms for clamping equipment during fabrication, assembly and heavy machining for automotive testing (component, engine and transmission) and inspection of fully built vehicles, etc.

These bed plates are made from close-grained plain cast iron (grade FG 200-IS 210). They have a hardness minimum 160BHN, are flask cooled and SH-V stress relieved, and are machined on the top working surface, which has machined T-slots for clamping.

Bed plates are supplied with suitable arrangements for leveling and anchoring on the floor or with machined mounting pads for air springs.
