Dynamic force exciter

The Compact Dynamic Force Exciter is designed to apply large dynamic forces, superposed over static forces, over a wide frequency range to facilitate modal analysis of machine structures (character analysis) and automotive components (such as engine mounts, seats, door panels, chassis components, etc).
The unit is built around a hydraulic actuator, close coupled to a high-response servo valve and a load cell (integral), controlled from a real-time digital controller. The design, with the adaptive amplitude control strategy, empowers the exciter with a better force/frequency range than a state-of-the-art exciter using other control schemes.
