Applus IDIADA opens a new facility in Chennai

IDIADA Chennai has strengthened its ability to provide added-value engineering services with the construction of a new facility that houses experienced technical experts and business development personnel from India and Europe. The focus is to offer chassis development services, such as vehicle dynamics, brakes, chassis performance, durability and global homologation testing to Indian clients.

This facility consists of a 3,000ft² automotive workshop set up on a 15,000ft² total area that also includes engineering offices, meeting rooms and ample space for vehicle parking. It has world-class standard measurement instruments along with four-post lifts and two-post lifts with trained manpower for operations. It will be fully operative at the end of October 2019.

This facility is near the Global Automotive Research Centre’s (GARC) test tracks, in the middle of the automobile cluster of Chennai.
