Using of cables is not always possible or even desirable, therefore D&M Technologies/HKM-Messtechnik has developed a special radio module for wheel load scales. Integrated batteries provide the required energy. Each wheel load scale is equipped with a radio module that transmits the measured values directly to a USB radio receiver on a PC.

Further evaluation is realized using the HKM software. This software allows users to display the measured data of vehicle weighing; display all individual wheel loads, axle loads, the loads of the left and right side of the vehicle as well as the total load; add several axle loads to the total load; store the weighing data and/or print out the weighing protocol; enter company details and vehicle data for the weighing protocol; and export the data to Microsoft Excel.
