Switching/simulation modules for ECU testing
Pickering Interfaces / VigVen Tech Mark

As the industry evolves to an electric vehicle strategy, so does Pickering Interfaces. The company has supplied modular switching and simulation to the automotive industry for over 35 years. Its culture is to listen to customers’ needs and design a product that solves their switching and simulation problems.

As such, Pickering has recently introduced a family of PXI and LXI high-voltage switching products that can switch up to 9kV and up to 50W of power – available in multiple switch topologies, including multiplexers and the smaller building blocks of uncommitted SPST switches. Hardware interlocks are provided on all modules.

The company also offers fault insertion switching for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation applications and testing automotive networks, including Ethernet; battery simulators for BMS tests; sensor simulators for engine management and environmental control; and strain gauge simulators for testing airbag systems. For complex switching configurations, Pickering’s signal routing software, Switch Path Manager, can reduce your switching development time by up to 40%.

Pickering offers over 1,000 other switching/simulation modules that can address virtually all switching requirements for testing the many ECUs essential to the control of transportation systems. Speak to representatives at the expo to learn more.
