Non-contact rotary torque transducers

S. Himmelstein is strengthening its wheel-and-pulley-style torque transducer range with the MCRT 27000T. This line of wheel torque transducers has torque ranges from 565Nm to 5,650Nm and 4mV/V or ±5V outputs. These wheel torque transducers are designed for excellent immunity to contamination and vibration with a waterproof, corrosion-resistant construction. In addition, they also stand up well to loads and temperature gradients. Standard units are available for all drivetrain layouts.
The company will also showcase the MCRT 3120TA and 31200T non-contact pulley and sprocket torque meters for belt- and chain-driven machinery. These can be easily installed in small spaces without pillow blocks or flexible couplings and are not sensitive to belt and chain loads. With 4mV/V outputs, they measure torque ranges from 5.65Nm to 170Nm and are noise hardened for VFD applications. The MCRT 3120TA and 31200T are used to measure and control the torque, speed and power of belt- and chain-driven machinery.
