At the 2021 Automotive Testing Expo in Novi, Michigan, PCB Piezotronics and Endevco will showcase their wide range of sensors for auto safety measurements, including the new Endevco Model 7310A angular rate sensor, which is designed for measurements of rotational velocity in anthropomorphic test devices and rollover testing.
Also on display will be Endevco’s multi-mode damped accelerometers, which have little to no resonance in the frequency range of interest and the highest sensitivity available for excellent signal-to-noise ratio. They feature integral electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Models 701AH, 701FH, 726CH and 758H piezoresistive accelerometers are rugged accelerometers in multiple form factors for use in on-vehicle crash environments. Model 7264H is a highly damped accelerometer for pedestrian safety testing that meets Euro NCAP directives and is suitable for installation inside headforms. Models 757AH and 757FH are very low-mass piezoresistive accelerometers that fit inside doors and other tight locations for side impact testing.
