Vision Research
A range of upgraded cameras for crash testing will be the main talking point at Vision Research’s booth. The company has updated its compact cameras to film at full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels), while still maintaining 1,400fps. The Phantom Miro C320J and C320 use the same housing as the existing Miro C210J and C210 and connect easily with the Miro J-Box 2.0, as they use the same operating software.
The small and rugged cameras are proven to stand up to shocks over 170g, as well as 24Grms vibe. To make sure that footage never gets lost, they come as standard with an internal battery and 128GB of internal flash memory to protect critical images in the event of power loss. The 10µm pixel size gives the high light sensitivity that onboard crash testing often needs, while the 1920x1080 format provides critical detail.
