At Automotive Testing Expo in Novi, Michigan, see Promess’s fully electric product line, which combines precise linear and/or rotational motion control, real-time process feedback and intelligent, programmable controllers that help users build productive and flexible assembly and test cells.
Featured at this year’s show is the Benchtop Press Work Station, a lightweight, plug-and-play workstation with all the safety and controls of Promess’s full-size Work Station, designed for quick setup and easy integration. The Benchtop Work Station has an integrated Promess electric press (EMAP), which is a programmable motion-controlled ball-screw press with integrated motion control and monitoring. Promess’s easy-to-use and highly adaptable software enables quick and easy pressing and assembly validation.
The Benchtop Work Station solution has a small footprint and is ready for low-volume prototyping, pre-production and full volume production.
The Benchtop Press Work Station is great for lab environments where component assembly processes can be optimized by physical testing. Testing throughout the design phase can help to create a process that results in increased throughput and fewer failed parts.
