Ty Tieng is the NI Product Line Manager with Testforce with almost 20 years of experience in the test and measurement industry. Ty loves engaging with engineers to understand their test requirements and connecting them to the right people and tools within the NI Ecosystem. Before his current role, Ty spent time in sales, sales management, and marketing, all of which showed him the importance of being in front of the customer. Ty holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McMaster University and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Schulich School of Business, York University.

Hardware considerations for a successful integration of your HIL system

Product design and validation require multiple rounds of testing with different levels of accuracy. When transitioning from simulation or software in the loop (SIL) to hardware in the loop (HIL), one must consider many factors that will greatly impact the testing.
