EV and AV testing
Göpel Electronic GmbH

CARMEN (CAR Motor Test Environment) is Göpel Electronic’s new modular test system to perform endurance testing of electric drives. Depending on requirements, test procedures can be system-specific or standardized. Database-supported uniform system software enables complete traceability of DUT data and evaluation parameters over the entire product lifecycle.

Apart from EV drivetrain testing, the company is also working to advance ADAS testing. To this end, it will present the 6222 Video Dragon, a new tool for camera-based driver assistance systems, which is a frame grabber and generator in one device. It is used for the recording, processing and exact reproduction of large amounts of data via FPD-Link II/III, GMSL and APIX3 in development, production, and series testing.

Göpel Electronic will also present a third product, the latest generation of its Series 62 multibus communication controller, which is specifically designed for embedded electronics in the automotive industry. The new architecture offers the user up to 18 independent bus interfaces for CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, automotive Ethernet and LIN, resulting in numerous configuration and application options for optimum adaptation to the DUT or the test task.
