To eliminate all the extraneous noises that so impact the perceived quality of modern vehicles, Brüel & Kjær has developed the BK Connect Acoustic Camera. A complete system for real-time noise source identification (NSI), it can be used for both stationary and non-stationary measurements. It is a versatile tool designed for use in the aerospace and automotive industries, but it has applications in many other industrial environments.
The BK Connect Acoustic Camera is equally suited to NSI troubleshooting in aircraft, with buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR) detection in vehicle cabins and high-frequency leak detection. Other benefits of the system include the user-friendly design that allows measurements to be viewed in real time and parameters to be adjusted quickly. In addition, the BK Connect can perform both beamforming and acoustic holography measurements, eliminating the need for two separate systems.
