Test battery vibration resistance

Join IMV Corporation at its booth for an introduction to its A74 system for testing vibration resistance in lithium ion battery modules and packs. Compared to its predecessor, the A74 increases the related excitation force to provide a maximum of 4.6m/s shock velocity testing with a displacement of 76.2mm peak-to-peak, which gives an excellent balance between specification of velocity and acceleration.
For larger battery packs, IMV has a K-series shaker: a water-cooled vibration test system rated for large forces. The latest model, the K350, can achieve up to 3.5m/s shock velocity, so it can meet the shock test conditions defined by UN standard T4 (150G, 6ms) for large battery packs.
