Adding a driving simulator to the automotive testing tool chain
Cruden BV - Stand: 8630

Driving simulators have traditionally been viewed as standalone development tools, operated by a handful of specialists, but advanced simulator manufacturer Cruden will demonstrate the ease with which driver-in-the-loop (DIL) simulators can be added to existing automotive test environments and toolchains.

The company makes this possible with its open architecture hardware and software that allow DIL systems to easily slot in for use by the whole organization and integrate seamlessly with engineers’ existing CAE tools. Cruden’s AS2 simulator – a motion-based driving simulator housed within a 200°, 3m-high (9.8ft) cylindrical projection screen – will be at Automotive Testing Expo 2019.
