Next-generation power analyzer

The WT5000, from Yokogawa, is an extendable precision power analysis measurement platform suitable for analyzing electromechanical systems in electric vehicles. It can be operated manually, or with additional hardware, providing an intuitive measurement experience for various applications: automotive development, efficiency tests of inverter-driven motors, renewable energy technologies, and traction applications like pumps or fans.
The latest version allows you to make simultaneous measurements on up to seven swappable power inputs plus four motor channels and to compare them in split screen mode thanks to the high-resolution 10.1-inch touchscreen. The WT5000 precision power analyzer offers isolation, noise immunity, current sensing and filtering in a modular architecture, and guarantees a basic power accuracy of ±0.03%.
Event triggers can be defined and used, and computations customized according to individual applications, while measurements can be shown in numeric, waveform, bar, vector or trend format. The modular architecture of the WT5000 features seven slots for users to swap between different types of input elements, allowing it to be expanded or reconfigured as your applications and their needs change.
